I know I say this about Ichibancon a lot, but the Embassy Suites just does NOT have enough parking for an event like this.  The whole reason I hit the road early enough to require a nap as soon as I parked was because I knew if I waited to show up at a reasonable hour, there was a serious chance of not being able to park at all.  Seriously, by the time the con started in earnest, every single space was full, and so were a number of spots that WEREN’T spaces.  You couldn’t even walk through the parking lot without being followed by a dozen cars just looping around the lot looking for somebody about to leave.  Seriously, I felt really bad any time I had to head out to the car for anything, because I’d awlays have to shoo away at LEAST three or four different cars hoping I was about to leave.  They were circling like buzzards, man!  This happened a lot down at AWA, but… I mean, that’s in Atlanta.  Of COURSE parking is a nightmare.  It feels a lot more surprising out in Concord.

Oh, and guess what?  This is actually the the next to last page for Ichibancon, and the finale is actually already drawn!  Tune in tomorrow for the not at all sudden and abrupt conclusion to Ichi 2022, and an important announcement for what’s coming up next!
