Suncoast Pilgrimage 2024 – page 9
So, I have no idea when Stefan’s actually going to get around to editing any of this stuff and unleashing it on the world, but he was documenting this trip just as much as I was, only in HIS case it was for a YouTube video. We shot a lot of footage Saturday afternoon after making the drive out, shot some narration/interview stuff in a nearby hotel that night, then came back Sunday morning for a second visit. For whatever reason, it was only THEN that a security lady waddled over and let him know there was no filming allowed… and she totally didn’t notice me whipping out my phone and getting lots and lots and LOTS of video of my own the second he had left. So, whenever this video actually does hit YouTube, a decent chunk of the video footage will probably end up being mine.
But hey, it’s taken me, like, five months and I’m still not done with these silly little doodles. Lord only knows how long actually editing a short documentary will take…
I’m not sure which is the bigger head scratcher – that in 2025 store’s would not want someone giving them FREE ADVERTISEMENT on the internet, or that in 2025 someone thinks that a rule that essentially says “no holding a cell phone in your hands in a mall” is enforceable in any way (or, if enforced, wouldn’t keep out 90% of potential customers). That’s more bizarre than a Motion Picture store with no Motion pictures!
