Conventional Wisdom

I mean, maybe it was different from one Suncoast location to another, but all the ones I remember visiting had a “manga section” that was basically just one little shelf.  Like, it was about the same size as the one shelf full of soundtrack CDs they’d always have in the anime section, and it looked like it got restocked just as often. The manga shelf in THIS Suncoast is honestly about as big as the entire anime section was back in Ye Olde Days.  It’s just, as I said, this is supposed to be a MOVIE store, not a BOOK store… and the ACTUAL book store had more more books AND movies in stock.

Actually, that’s another thing.  I don’t have enough photo evidence to really make this work as a comic on it’s own, but the anime section in that Barnes & Noble was a bit of a scam.  It’d LOOK like they have shelves full of front-facing rows of discs, but upon closer inspection, they just had “rows” of single disks resting in front of small cardboard boxes.  Like… I’m less disappointed about what you DID than the fact that you lied about it.
