Yes, it cost entirely too much and I easily could have gotten the exact same thing for several dollars less somewhere else. THAT’S NOT WHAT’S IMPORTANT HERE. It was the PRINCIPLE of the thing.
…also, while I may have used a picture of bog standard regular Pocky for the punchline’s sake, Salted Vanilla was the actual winning flavor of the trip. That stuff is like eating an ice cream cone.
But yeah! That concludes my… somewhat depressing but still intellectually rewarding pilgrimage to one of the last Suncoasts! I… sure didn’t think it’d take me this long to finish less than a dozen comics! Of course, that doesn’t mean I actually AM finished, because there’s still two more pages about this trip are gonna go up on Patreon later. So keep an eye out for that! And also, stay tuned for Animazement 2025 next month! Holy crap, it’s already that close! What’s even happening anymore?
