Conventional Wisdom

Yes, I’ve basically done this gag before, but that’s kind of half Yoink’s whole gimmick these days.  Besides, it’s more applicable now than ever.  Much like Raul Duke, I went off to an event for the express purpose of covering it in SOME kind of journalistic capacity, and not only completely neglected the even itself, but deliberately wrote my “coverage” to be about the time-wasting nonsense I did instead.  I just refrained from doing a bunch of drugs, destroying some hotel rooms, and pulling a knife on a waitress, that’s all.  Again, I feel I really owe Cosplay America an apology for doing them dirty like this but, well, this really is the best an event like that was ever gonna get out of me.  Just for the record, there’s still some Animazement 2022 comic going up on Patreon if you really want some new convention comics that are actually ABOUT a convention.

And yet, despite all this, we’re somehow STILL NOT DONE!  That’s right, there’s still one more Cosplay America page left to do, and I’m hoping to have it finished and posted by the time the weekend’s over.
