Conventional Wisdom

I mean, part of it COULD just be that the Animazement drive was SO short that I was just spoiled, especially since that con and this one were so close to each other.  But honestly, I think the biggest issue was a matter of time.  As in, the the time I actually hit the road, which was obvious a LOT later for Cosplay America than, say, Queen City or Ichi.  While leaving  hours before dawn had it’s own inconvenient problems, I genuinely really do love being on the road at times when everybody else is asleep.  It’s SOOOO much less stressful to not have to worry about all the other psychos out on the road.  Even crazy construction areas are less stressful when you’re the only one breezing through them.  That absolutely did NOT hold true for any of my road trips this weekend.

Oh, and can I just that that I am SHOCKED this update has officially hit double-digits and I’m not done yet?  I mean, there’s not MUCH left.  I fully expect to knock out the last few pages over the course of this weekend.  But still, you’ve all seen how much I “did” at this convention.  It’s a miracle I got enough material to even fill THREE pages!
