DANG IT, I went and did it again.  Sorry about ANOTHER lapse, especially since this was pretty much the exact same situation all over again.  I had a comic idea I was going to go with, then thought better of how it might come across, and by that point everything was thrown off by also having to do a Far Out There holiday page.  Man, remember when I used draw two of those AND one of these every singe weeks? …actually, I take that back.  I may have only drawn up one new Far Out There page last week, but I also re-edited and re-posted several MONTHS worth of old comics.  That, and these new Conventional Wisdom comics are waaaaay more labor intensive than the old ones.  There’s more layers on this one comic than there were pages in most old convention sets.

But yes, a dozen pages in and ConCONcon is FINALLY getting to its Opening Ceremonies.  That sounds like a long time, but it’s actually pretty spot on for how late many conventions “start.”  Most of the ones I go to don’t have their “kick off” until Friday is almost over.  If you count Thursday night pre-con stuff, then that’s more than a full day into the event they’re welcoming us to.  It’s just weird is all.

Oh, and are you picking up on the subtle suggestions to go by ConCONcon merchandise?
