ConCONcon 2020 – page 11
I mean, it’s obviously not ALWAYS like that, but even just occasionally is enough. I’m not even making up the bit about getting a big stack of printed material from a complete stranger (which, no, I never bothered reading).
Anyway, there wasn’t a new comic last week, sorry about that. It was a combination of multiple factors all colliding with each other. Since the previous page was late, that meant I was running behind schedule on doing the next one before I’d even started. What’s more, I had both Far Out There’s Fathers’ Day comic and a whole pile of Patreon things to finish up over the weekend, which didn’t help. And to top it all off… honestly, I had SEVERAL comic ideas to choose from last week, but pretty much all of them wound up sounding uncomfortably close to some Real World thing that went down over the preceding few days. I’m already bending over backwards just to surround my snark about anime conventions in a thick coating of fictional settings. I do NOT feel like explaining to somebody that this isn’t trying to be some elaborate metaphor for something people actually CARE about.
…and yes, we have yet more names of fictional works that only I know the context for. One of these days I REALLY WILL make that wiki to explain what all this stuff means!
If you will absolutely guess too low, then I’ll guess 1 million fliers, which is likely absolutely too high. I have never seen your room, but I’m assuming that it isn’t filled with paper to, at minimum, ankle-height.
You never know, I MIGHT life in a TARDIS. Or some of the flyers might be really, really REALLY small. 🙂
You are correct, I am assuming that the fliers are at least A4 pages, and that you have either a small or moderately sized bedroom (a large bedroom being bigger than “Rachel’s Apartment” from friends, bedrooms, bathrooms and all).
Man, I’ve lived in HOUSES that weren’t as spacious as those apartments…
