Conventional Wisdom

Don’t worry, Servo didn’t have another horrible accident this year. I just got tired of his string constantly snapping so I decided to replace it with fishing line… which I of course never got around to doing until Friday morning… and of course took several hours of repeatedly screwing up and having to start over. I do not have a future in building ships in bottles, I can tell you that right now.

(Historical Notes: Ironically, as I write this in the fall of 2020, Servo actually DID have a horrifying accident and I still haven’t gotten around to repairing him.  Honestly, I probably could have by this point; I’ve got multiple leads on the specific, unique dome my puppet uses… but it’s not like I’ve got anyplace to take the thing right now, so there hasn’t really been any rush to get it taken care of.)
