I am a firm believer in getting my stuff out of the hotel room and into the van as early as possible to avoid waiting on crowded elevators *glares at “going up to go down” people* As a result, I’m used to seeing cons at their quietest… but MAN this particular Sunday was creepy. My very first trip down, I literally didn’t see a single person anywhere in the hotel. No straggling congoers, no groggy volunteers, no hotel staff, NOBODY. And given how jam packed it had been the previous night, that was WEIRD.

But then, Daylight Savings Time had also kicked in that night, so I was kind of up an hour earlier than everyone else, I guess.

(Historical Notes: I really like how that last panel turned out, especially in this new, improved version where I played around with the brightness.  Conventional Wisdom starts to look more and more elaborate with every update!)
