Back when The Dark Knight came out, I didn’t see it until AFTER Otakon. Spoilers were had (“Gee, why are some of these Jokers in nurse outfits?“) I was NOT enduring that again.

And just in case any of you were wondering: I liked the movie, but not as much as the last one. My main problem (as with the last one) was the pacing more than anything else. I don’t mind the portrayal of Catwoman, but I concede that it’s an odd fit for the series. I had no problem understanding Bane, even if he did talk like Christopher Walken on occasion.

(Historical Notes: On the one hand, I could call out Past Me for underselling just how underwhelmed I actually was by this movie… but seeing as how the more recent DC movies looked so underwhelming that I couldn’t even be bothered to SEE any of them, maybe this one really shouldn’t be dumped on that much.  Also, look at Past Me actually wearing a watch.  And not some smart-fit-i-whatever either, just a plain old digital watch.  I was keeping ALL the archaic trends alive back in those days.)
