Seriously, just look at any of the more elaborately colored pages of Far Out There, and you’ll see how “bright colored lines on a black background” burned itself DEEPLY into my subconscious from a very early age.  I watched the tape of Tron we taped off a Disney Channel preview week (back when that was a thing) HUNDREDS of times as a kid, so finally seeing it fully restored and on a giant screen was an amazing experience.  I mean, I’ve seen the full version on DVD, but still.  THE BIG SCREEN.  I was smiling like a lunatic the entire time, just marveling at all that primitive CG and backlit animation.  Heck, I even got a free poster, which is WAY cooler than my little doodle here.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure that THIS will, in fact, be the final Conventional Wisdom I do on the old computer.  Look for an update on blitzthecomicguy.com either later tonight or tomorrow morning for more on what that’s all about, but know that this page was VERY nearly replaced with a doodle of an angry Yoink making me explain why we DIDN’T get the Tron parody comic.
