Hey, you know how everybody was talking about how Katsucon had to be evacuated because of a fire alarm? Guess what happened on Thursday!
Now, this particular incident was resolved REALLY quickly. Turns out somebody was smoking outside and flicked the thing right into the fresh sod. So, um, don’t do that, kids. I mean, come on.
But yeah, this was an eventful hour or so. Really, I could probably have milked this one hour for another two or three pages. And if you support me on Patreon, you’ll be able to see me do just that in a few days!
(Historical Notes: It was suggested to me that MAGFest got off a lot lighter than Katsucon in this regard because DC had warmed up a lot by the time MAGFest rolled in. At the time, I was rather flippant about actually missing the cold, due to my well-documented Frost Giant ancestry. Two years later, though, I would have an entirely different “being outside in the cold at MAGFest” experience, so look forward to THAT…)
