Okay, so here’s the thing: The Gaylord is right off the Interstate, so getting there SHOULDN’T be hard at all. Unfortunately, nobody thought to tell Google Maps that you can only exit there if you’re in the LOCAL traffic lanes. As a result, we ended up having to take a later exit, plow our way through the snowy streets of the greater DC area, and try to find a way to actually REACH that giant, hulking building constantly looming in the distance.

(Historical Notes: These days, having trouble getting into the National Harbor takes on an entirely different meaning… though this one is still a problem, too.)
