Ichibancon 2022 – page 6
This is another one of those cases where I basically didn’t have to actually write anything. I was just sitting around the lobby and watched this whole thing play out right in front of me.
…granted, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for me to have Those Kids be the ones reenacting this, since Ichibancon is the con they debuted at back in 2014, so you’d think they would have noticed the revolving door before now. But seriously, how could these three NOT be the ones doing this?
EDIT: It didn’t occur to me until well after this comic was posted that I forgot to draw masks on the kids. For shame! Now they look like… the surprising number of attendees and staffers who ALSO weren’t wearing masks, regardless of what the convention rules said.
rurn (v.) – to both run and turn at the same time, as one might do playing in a revolving door. see also ‘rurn around’
And if those kids are anything like me, it’s entirely possible for them to go somewhere for nearly a decade and still not notice obvious details everyone else sees within seconds of arrival. Has happened far too many times to count…
I WAS going to go back and fix that typo… but now I kinda wanna leave it so that the comment makes sense, ‘cos there’s a fair chance that’s funnier than the actual comic.
