(Historical Notes: Ironically, the first half of this page is actually one of the reasons I was dumb enough to try this a second time.  While I played it up for comedy’s sake here, it wasn’t THAT cold over the weekend.  I mean, it may have been January, but it was still Charlotte, NC.  It’s still only gonna be cold by Southern standards, and that’s pretty manageable.  That filled me with a VERY false sense of security regarding temperatures when I tried this again for AWA.)
