Conventional Wisdom

Ugh, I’m sorry about this guys. Here’s the deal: over at my actual JOB job, pretty much everything that could possibly go wrong (short of the place burning down) did last weekend. As a result, no only did I not get any days off, which is pretty much the only way I ever get anything finished, but even my normal works days have been a lot longer and more tiring than usual. The “tiring” part is compounded by the fact that all this went down the EXACT same time that my cartooning workload took an unexpected spike. The result was a lot more to do than usual, and a lot less time and energy with which to do it. Heck, I didn’t even get STARTED drawing this page until around 3 am. Now do you see why I didn’t have it in me to do a real comic today? Well, hopefully, we’ll still get through all the outtake comics before Anime Boston…

(Historical Notes: A few days after this page went up, I heard some of my co-workers talking about it in very confused terms.  They all disliked their working conditions about as much as I did, but that didn’t stop them from REALLY not knowing what to make of weirdness like this.)
