(Historical Notes: Man, I really HAVE been complaining about this for a long time, haven’t I? By the way, despite the implication of the bottom panel, I’ve never actually submitted a panel to a convention on my own. All my hosting adventures have been as the side-kick of somebody else, and that somebody would always be the one to do all the actual scheduling work. To be fair, I WAS toying with the idea of actually stepping up and starting to take the lead on some projects myself at around this time… but then my laptop really started dying and I’d more or less given up on the idea by this point. That, and me burnout was REALLY starting to hit its peak by this point, so I really didn’t need the con following me home any more than it already was.)
