Seriously, we were the backdrop of at LEAST half a dozen separate celebrity selfie ops.

Oh, and seeing as how I’d just made a big deal out of it in the previous Otakon update, I guess I should point out that Taka did not, in fact, do the translating for Opening Ceremonies. I was indeed disoriented, but more due to my knowing for a fact he was still at the con. Seriously, I passed him in the hall, like, three times. What the heck?

(Historical Notes: So, this isn’t the first page where this happened, but it’s the first one where there isn’t something else I should be focusing on instead.  This is the point where I FINALLY stopped doing the comic panels by hand and actually started to embrace some straight lines.  Just look at all the professionalism!  Of course, that’s also why so much of the art inexplicably stops before the lines meet the edge, since I wasn’t sure about how to space everything out this way yet.  Seriously, watch for the white space next to the borders.  You can’t unsee it once you know to look for it.)
