Conventional Wisdom

Somebody folded a nice origami pattern into both the regular towels AND the first paper towel on the roll. THAT’S A THING AN EMPLOYEE AT THIS HOTEL DID.

And I’m sure, in the grand scheme of hotel rooms, this one wasn’t really that nice. But being a guy who’s used to a sleeping bag in the corner & cooking ramen in the coffee maker, having a whole bed and a full kitchen was ASTOUNDING.

…now, as for being on the other side of the Interstate from the con, THAT was less great.

(Historical Notes: Past Me left out the important detail that this was a SUITE rather than just a room, which obviously explains a whole lot.)
