Anime USA 2016 – page 1
(Historical Notes: That about says it all, doesn’t it? Of course, this was back when I still tired to complete the entire set of comics and post it all in one giant update, and stuff like this is why I finally gave that up. Still, even by my then-usual standards, the AUSA 2016 comics were pretty late. I was just too burned out by everything else I’d done over the course of 2016. When I think back, I remember 2019 as being the year where I really started to get cynical about Conventional Wisdom, but the more I look over these comics, the more I realize THIS was really the year that broke me. And not just in terms of workload, there’s something else we’ll be getting into shortly…)
*cracks knuckles and deep brain memories*
I shall try my best to fill in and remember too. This was a weird year indeed. Was this our last artist alley we attempted? The last AUSA we attended? Even I am having trouble remembering, bit I get the feeling it was.
RIP to the Marriott Wardman Park too I guess, it shut down recently as well.
I mean, I know it’s the last con I’VE had a table at.
Also, yeah, I had no idea they were actually CLOSED closed until I went double checking details for these reposts. No wonder AUSA went ahead and called off 2021 ahead of time, huh?
