I would TOTALLY do this if I could. One of the big problems with me trying to sell stuff in Artist Alley is always that I can’t, you know, actually stay in Artist Alley all weekend. There’s only so many ways I can say “and then I sat at the table some more” before it gets really boring.
…and then there’s the whole “not actually talking to other human beings” thing. I’d gladly adopt any method of doing ANYTHING that promises less human interaction.
(Historical Notes: I kind of feel like this should be the ultimate goal of stuff like Patreon. Also, this absolutely WILL come up again, but AUSA was especially bad when it came to the whole “going stir crazy at the table” problem, since the sprawling layout of Wardman Park meant Artist Alley felt even more far away and isolated than it already does at other cons.)
