Anime USA 2015 – page 3
In retrospect, black ink probably wasn’t the best medium to try and express white cobwebs, was it? But yeah, seeing as how the con actually fell on Halloween this year, we decided to get into the holiday spirit. And NO holiday is complete without some garish decorations and strings of lights!
(Historical Notes: Past Me says “we,” but that whole Halloween table idea was one hundred percent Kurt’s idea, and still one of the coolest table ideas I was ever a part of. It’d have been nicer if it was at a con where Artist Alley was at a location more central to the people flow… which is to say at a con WITH a central people flow point.)
Halloween orange lights, cobwebs, and candy and it only cost me around $15 for the whole setup! The location was definitely in another weird offshoot branch basement room of the hotel it felt like; but the worst thing was the complete lack of phone signal and no wifi. I just “loved” having to run out of the room and up an escalator to the lobby to just hopefully get a credit transaction to clear.
Dude, remember the year when Internet on the whole East Coast went down that one day, and we couldn’t even tell the difference down there?
