No, seriously, I spent more money in the Dealer’s Room in a single Saturday afternoon than I had over several YEARS worth of conventions combined. Now, you’d THINK it was the Digimon CDs that did it… and yes, they were the most pricey items in the haul. But actually, it was 08th MS Team that really started the downward spiral. I normally restrict myself to only using the cash I’d gotten ahead of time, but that one set alone pushed my wallet to the point of having to use a card instead. It was the first purchase of the day, and after that… I dunno. Something just broke in my head and I was like “Awww, screw it. I might as well.” for the whole rest of the time I was down there. I know, it’s still not THAT much compared to what I’ve seen other people spend at these things, but for ME it was absolute degeneracy.
…so yeah, if anybody out there feels like throwing me some extra money via Patreon, I’d appreciate it even more than usual.
