This is my sixteenth year of doing comics online, and it’s STILL every bit as mind-blowing to encounter another human being who’s actually read any of them as it was back in 2009 or whatever.I mean… that’s just not supposed to happen! Ya’ll should be reading GOOD comics, not MINE!
Also, it didn’t fit into the comic itself, but this little encounter was also the site of me giving away the very last of my infamous Bags of Free Stuff… memorable more for the fat that I actually REMEMBERED that I still had a bag of free stuff to give away. Seriously, I should have run out of these things YEARS before this, but in the heat of the moment, I’d always forget about it until it was too late. Speaking of which, CRAP! Now I need to come up with some new giveaway!
One of these years I’m going to actually attend Animazement just so I can do exactly this.
I kind of want to go to the US one year, simply to go to a Con & see Awesomely Bad and say hi. But going half way around the globe for five minutes of entertainment (specifically, getting this reaction out of Blitz) competes against my general entertainment preferences, my preference for relative-cheapness (relative to the cost of international flights, accommodation, food and the like), and my preferences towards financial investment.
Yeah, sorry Blitz. I’m not going anytime soon, and you may stop going yourself before I end up going.
You just have to convince Blitz to go to a con down there 🙂
He may need a few more (hundred) Patreon members for that, though….
