Conventional Wisdom

Okay, I LIVE around Raleigh, so it’s not like this is some new place I’m visiting for the first time. Still, it was a HECK of a time getting to the hotel parking lot. I think I must have looped around the Raleigh Convention Center about a dozen times total before finally making the right set of turns (and that’s why I always get someone ELSE to drive when I go to out of state convention)

(Historical Note: Well, obviously, the bit about getting other people to drive rarely if ever applies any more, but my ability to get lost sure hasn’t changed.  Heck, I actually get lost around town these days, what with all the construction and expanded roads and all that mess to disorient me.)
