Conventional Wisdom

I’ve been to five Animazements before this one, all at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham. This was our collective first time at the Raleigh Convention Center, and the difference was jarring. Not that it wasn’t a GOOD difference, seeing that we’d outgrown the Imperial a good two years ago, but still pretty disorienting at first. I couldn’t help think “Holy crud, we’re a big deal now!”

(Historical Notes: On the one hand, it’s kind of appropriate that Animazement moved from the old location to the new one right as I was starting this new comic.  On the other hand, though, part of me can’t help but pine for the crazy comics the general public missed out on dues to Conventional Wisdom not getting to cover a year of AZ trying to cram itself into that tiny old hotel one more year.  I really need to hurry up and get a new, deluxe version of the Conventional Wisdom PreHistory book ready to sell, so you all can see what you’ve been missing.)
