(Historical Notes: Yes.  YES!  THIS is what I’m talking about!  A convention comic specifically about the convention itself, that other people who were at the con will recognize, and people who WEREN’T at the con will learn from, and hopefully either one will laugh at!  This, right here, is what Conventional Wisdom is supposed to be all about!  Why oh why didn’t Past Me do more comics like this one for the tenth birthday?

By the way, if you’re not sure what’s up: conventions have to limit the points of entry to make sure nobody sneaks in what ain’t supposed to be there, and between the badge checks, bag checks, prop checks, and general lack of space, the entrances tended to jam up pretty quick at peak hours.  The tunnel between the WCC and the Marriott next door was particularly bad.  This right here is precisely what it felt like.)
