Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: I remember this one really annoyed me because I’d TRIED to take pictures of the escalators in the convention center to use for this gag, but nothing I had was usable, so I had to awkwardly edit some stock images into submission.  It was especially frustrating because, aside from the background issues, this was one of those comics that just fell into my lap with minimal effort.  This totally happened, several times.  The WCC is BIG, man.  If you aren’t specifically making appointments to meet up with someone at a certain place at a certain time, making connections is hard… even if the two of you are staying in the same hotel room.)
