Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Okay, honestly the one thing I remembered the most while looking at this page taking the pictures for the background.  Animazement 2017 may have been the first set of comics where I used a lot of photo backgrounds, but this was the first time where I really went into the con itself expecting to do it.  I spent SO much time wandering around this massive convention center, both inside and outside, getting a full compliment of pictures to use in as many comics as possible.  But seriously, I don’t know how well it comes across in these comics, but the WCC is a MASSIVE facility.  I actually remember walking along the outside of this place while I lived in DC, wondering how the CRAP Otakon thought they would be able to fill this kind of monstrous location.  I’ve lived in whole TOWNS that weren’t as big as this place.)
