(Historical Notes: You know, I actually remember being somewhat proud of the photoshop montage for this cover… which boggles my mind now, because this is terrible.  Granted, I totally get WHY Past Me threw this together rather than trying to use a real DC photo.  This particular arrangement of the Capitol, the Washington Monument, and a Metro station isn’t even remotely possible in real life, but I wanted to cram as many DC trademarks into a single image as possible.  Of course, it also says something that, even after my time living there, I didn’t have enough pictures of my OWN to stitch together this collage, but had to resort to stock images with wildly different lighting and color temperature.  Why, it’s almost like I didn’t want to bring that memories of DC home with me!  Oh, but speaking of “DC trademarks,” I tried to throw in a more subtle one along with the more obvious Washington hallmarks like landmarks, politics, and homelessness.  Miffy’s supposed to be eating some Chipotle, which I swear I’ve still never seen in as much abundance anyplace as I saw in DC.  Seriously, I ate more Chipotle in those couple of years than I’ll eat for the rest of my life put together.)
