Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes:  OOOoooh, look who was just learning how to do more ambitious lighting effects!  I think I’ve gotten substantially better at it since I upgraded my art programs, but even for a rudimentary experiment, I think this turned out pretty well.  I like the skeeviness of this whole image, which probably captures the essence of MAGFest better than anybody involved with the event would care to admit.  I think Past Me was a bit iffy about how all this “shady back alley” imagery doesn’t really make much sense if you’ve actually seen the National Harbor… but I can think of PLENTY of spots in the surrounding DC and Maryland areas that match up perfectly, so whatever.)
