The Soul Eater gathering was the only cosplay photoshoot I actually made it to at Katsucon (I’d tried to get to one for Satoshi Kon characters, but couldn’t make it) It was a mountain of fun, though, and one of the most efficiently run shoots I’ve ever been in.
Sadly, in all the confusion, I completely forgot to hand off my camera to anyone when I was in a picture. So, on the rare moments when I wasn’t working on this stuff, I’ve been scouring the internet for pictures. I wanna see just how much of a fool I actually made of myself!
(Historical Notes: Man, there is SO much wasted space in this comic, and this is the version I edited a bit to scoot the sides in. I seriously considered doing a more drastic edit to compress the first two panels into a single row, which is probably how I should have drawn it in the first place. That seemed like too much effort for too little payoff, though. This whole restoration process is taking too long as it is.)
