So, if you tuned in a few weeks ago when Scribbles was introduced, you already heard me explain that he was invented when I was doing homework-based cartoons in college and occasionally just didn’t have an idea for the material. Now you see why I felt the need to throw a cute little anime critter into the mix. And if you think THIS is strange, you should have seen the filler comics I came up with back in the day. A doodle thrown together during the commercial breaks of 24 is one thing, a delirious scrawl from 4 in the morning after reading Aristotle all night is something else altogether.
(Historical Notes: Holy CRAP up with all the network TV references! I don’t care anymore! I don’t give a crap about Lost or 24! Actually drawing a real comic would have been a MUCH better use of your time! Or, at the very least, you should have been watching something that WOULDN’T end up being incredibly underwhelming and disappointing!)
