Hey, did you know that MAGFest was holding one of their Game Over shows in Durham that weekend? I sure didn’t, but it made the evening a whole lot more ROCKIN’. On a related note, I’d probably go to more shows if more clubs had mini-game rooms set up. And no, that one grungy Galaga cabinet that’s been there for years doesn’t count.
I got to see Eight Bit Disaster, D&D Sluggers, and Danimal Cannon’s sets. Although I had it on good authority that I’d loose at life if I left before Metroid Metal and Bit Brigade happened, I still had to get out early ‘cos… well, read on.
(Historical Notes: It reeeaaally feels like there’s supposed to be something in that empty space in the bottom panel, but nope! It’s just bad layout.)
