Escapist Expo 2013 – page 2
The Carolina D20 Girls and Atomic Mari from Smosh did a really fun basics of cosplay panel. It was actually really hard to decide which funny bit to make a comic out of. I learned a LOT about setting costumes on fire at this panel.
(Historical Notes: So, 2013 in general saw me experimenting artistically quite a bit, namely with using more thick lines of certain things. It’d been a Far Out There thing for a while before this, but I think this was the first set of Conventional Wisdom comics I actually did it on… and WOW did I over-do it on some of these pages. The goal is to make the important foreground elements pop, but it’s just plain DISTRACTING here.)
