Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Not gonna mention any names, obviously, but I used to hear kind of thing this a LOT from certain Artist Alley types, and it’s just one of the reasons it’s been so easy for me to not get around to going back.  Of course, it’s ALSO a big part of why I don’t really read webcomics anymore.  Granted, the MAIN reason is just that I’m usually to busy with my own stuff to partake in anybody else’s, but it also doesn’t help that the pool of comics I actually enjoy reading all but dried up a long time ago.  And clearly, I don’t have any patience for webcomics that are just an excuse for the artist to rant and vent about stuff.  Lord knows I’d never do that.)
