Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Now THIS one is timeless.  The eternal struggle.  Also, after my complaining earlier, this is another good example of how to use the fake anime in a comic where you DON’T need to have any idea about their pretend lore to know what the joke is.  And a nice combination of fake anime and real, to boot.

Just for the record, I am both proud and also surprised that, in all these years, I’ve yet to buy a single anime laserdisc just because it looked cool.  Despite all indications and evidence to the contrary.)
