Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: This is probably my favorite page out of the bunch, and I have NO idea where it came from.  Like, it’s juuuuust grounded enough in reality to not be completely random like the pumpkin bread thing, and that last line in particular feels like it’s inspired by something else.  Your guess is as good as mine what that thing was, though.  Actually, it reminds me a bit of this bit of weirdness from Far Out There, though that was a year after this comic.)
