Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Well, I don’t need any of the original commentary to know what Past Me’s feeling were about THIS part.  In case you’re unclear, AWA’s big hotel lobby basically becomes part central on Friday and Saturday nights, and it is INCREDIBLY obnoxious and lame.  Like, even if you’re NOT up in one of the rooms trying to sleep… although that absolutely does suck as well.  Alas, continuing to aimlessly wander around all night was just about the only way I could kill time until it got cool enough outside to finally go to the van.  I probably tried to justify it in the moment by saying I was also getting a few more pictures, but naw.  I was absolutely only out on the con floor under protest at this point.  There’s a reason why, these days, I’ll already be well on my way back home by the time the con reaches this point.)
