Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: I’m SLIGHTLY exaggerating here just for comedy and pacing reasons, but I really did end up throwing away some of the food I’d brought before the weekend was over, and that VERY rarely happens.  And this was AFTER making a habit of slipping into the hotel with a mini cooler and filling up on fresh ice.  There’s just a limit to what you can do under these conditions.)
