Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: This is always REALLY weird when it happens, but if you’ve gone to enough panels at enough cons, you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about.  When a big building with lots and lots of people in lots and lots of rooms, keeping every single corner of the establishment at the proper temperature is pretty much a doomed endeavor.  Sometimes a single room or hallway will be freezing because they have to keep the AC blasting at all times to cool off other a more populated area… and other times the opposite happens.  And just to make matters worse, this was Sunday afternoon, when I was already on my last legs and struggling to make it through anything to begin with.)
