…but seriously, there were some FUNKY odors in that convention center by the end of the weekend, even by anime con standards. You’d step around this one corner and suddenly your hit in the face with something that smelled like buffalo wings and burning tires. Not cool.
(Historical Notes: To clarify, this was up on the side of the con space that was directly over the Chinese restaurant in the mall, so there’s no way it wasn’t at least partially the stank for three day’s worth of spilled sauce burning on stove tops. Still, it’s a bit mind boggling that the actual food court level itself DIDN’T smell like this, despite only having a Subway and this one coffee vendor to balance it out.)
