Anime Weekend Atlanta 2014 – page 1
I’m used to wedging four or five people into one vehicle, all with lots and lots of cosplay and cameras and what have you. Actually being able to see out the back was WEIRD.
(Historical Notes: Man, 2014 was FULL of van-related “weirdness” that just seems quaint to me now. I think every single convention I went to last year involved no suitcases PERIOD. Granted, there’s always still coolers full of food and the occasional props and stuff, but never luggage. At this point, the weird thing would be for it to NOT be mostly empty back there.)
It was quite the moment back then to just have the vehicle so not packed to the brim. Now if only we could solve this whole, “someone has to be driving the vehicle the whole time” thing. Come on computer cars!
See, if we had been going to DC instead of Atlanta, we could have used the Minority Report robot cars.
