That really did happen. Now, I can understand people not immediately getting that I was Commissioner Gordon when there wasn’t a Batman right by me, but seriously…
(Historical Note: Basically, the only reason this costume happened was because people thought my Dr. Forrester mustache made me look like Gary Oldman. In retrospect, that’s an even weirder thing to assume than the Inspector Clouseau thing, but this WAS back in the day when I glued on a fake ‘stache, and those things looked all kinds of unnatural.)
