But yeah, that’s it for Animazement 2024! …sort of!  Yeah, this is the part where I always tease that there’s some additional content that’ll be going up on my Patreon later, but it applies even more here than it usually does.  To be honest, I’m kind of cutting this short ahead of schedule because I’M GOING TO OTAKON IN A WEEK!  Yup, Conventional Wisdom is once again returning to the con where it all began… and I REALLY needed to go ahead and have all the Animazement stuff wrapped up and out of the way in order to focus on actual trip preparations and the like.  All that to say, if it felt like Animazement’s comics wrapped up a bit abruptly this year, I agree.  I’d originally anticipated this being at least two pr three pages longer.  But again, those pages will see the light of day over on Patreon eventually, so consider yourself encouraged to become a patron so you can see ’em there! (and, I mean, I’ll eventually re-post all that patreon stuff here on the new site too… EVENTUALLY.)

Oh, and just in the interest of historical accuracy, I should point out that it was actually Jez Roth who kicked off the “American Guest says stuff in Japanese to force Taka into translating it” gag.  Toshi is just the one who added the “embarrass Taka with compliments” twist.
