Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: I’ve already gone on record as not knowing how anyone had energy by the time closing ceremonies rolls around, but I think it was around this point where even being jazzed up for the opening felt like a bit much to ask.  Never the less, I do still appreciate any con that actually bothers to have a real event to kick things off, even if this was technically over 24 hours after the convention “started”.  It’s just a matter of principle, ya know?)
