Conventional Wisdom

In case you haven’t noticed elsewhere, I am not a fan of the whole “shout things in crowded rooms” school of behavior. Thankfully, more and more cons agree with me and now treat it as the disruptive behavior it is.

…but then, there’s all this OTHER stuff that’s apparently okay, just because we aren’t as sick of it yet.

(Historical Notes: There was actually an incident where someone tried to get a Marco Polo started in Artist Alley, and a staffer went so far as to get on the PA system and tell everyone to knock that crap off.  That is what good staffing looks like, right there.)
