Apologies to Omake Ikuze for repeatedly trying to drown their panel in the all consuming cloak of darkness, but we really didn’t know that all the panel rooms on that side were connected to the same set of switches.

I suppose this is probably the point where I’m supposed to ask why the con staff didn’t bother to check on stuff like panel lighting requirements before scheduling two panels with mutually contradictory needs right next to each other… but given how many other crazy variables they have to keep track of while scheduling this stuff, I’m more than willing to just deal with it. Case in point: this is Shoujo Rock Heaven we’re talking about, a panel about female Japanese rock bands. Now, the late night slot we finally got for the panel ended up being very last minute, because the ORIGINAL time they gave us for this panel- about female Japanese bands -was at the same time as the all-female OreSkaBand’s concert. That was a bit of a problem, much more so than fiddling with the lights.

(Historical Notes: Oh, quit being a suck up, Past Me.  I know for a fact that you weren’t actually feeling this forgiving over this sort of thing.  I just re-posted that one Ichibancon comic about this same thing a few days ago.  You we’re just trying to stay on the con staff’s good side and you know it, ya weenie.)
