Okay, before we go any farther, let’s be clear that the luggage situation was still waaaaay better than the epic journey we took last year. This is not in dispute. Also, I feel I should reiterate that all of this was STILL way less stressful AND less expensive than trying to drive right into the heart of DC and paying for city parking. But even with all that said, MAN it sucked hauling all that stuff through the Metro system and across Chinatown. I have never more acutely felt the need for one of those giant collapsible wagons. That’s definitely going to be a part of the convention gear next year.

But I hear you ask: “What were you even doing lugging audio/visual gear around?” Well, you’ll just have to wait and see!

Oh, and yes. We actually did see a cybertruck in the wild. They’re just as ugly in person.
